I'm not sure what it is I want you to do with this. I just thought getting into the minds of these Greek anarchist bank "robbers" would be interesting. No one on the US left much wants to ever even talk about things like this, some because they don't want to feel the pious wrath of fundamentalist pacifists, some because they think the police will show up at their door. I don't care about the first, but would prefer the police stay away from my door.
Let's be clear, I am NOT ADVOCATING anyone go out and rob a bank. However, some people do believe there are plenty of justification for such things and I think people need to understand their motivation, their aims, and their reasoning.
Another reason I do this is because I know what it is like to be charged with a violent political crime and watch many people suddenly move ever so slightly further away from you.
I also, fortunately, know what it feels like to have still others, some total strangers, some old friends, some family be there for you.
And with that personal note I present to you from Occupied London/From the Greek Streets...
PS: This post comes with its own background.
