This is a story that sort of sums up what "justice in America" means if you are an African American. Spectacular crime, media outrage, cops serving and protecting. Uh huh. Five young men picked out for punishment and to feed the lynch mob. Five young men forced and coerced into "confessing" to a crime they did not commit. Years in prison follow. And then, guess what. Turns out someone came and proved it wasn't them. Still it takes a public campaign to get them out from behind bars.
How many times a day is this story repeated...and no one knows...well, no one but the one OCCUPYING a metal cage.
This is what I'm talking about.
