Because I will be driving in next week's NASCAR race, the 3M Performance 400, at the Michigan International Speedway this weekend, the Oread Daily will not be available until next Monday. I have to practice this week more than usual. I'll be driving the 99 car as always. I hope to leave Kyle Bush behind this weekend.

Wow that is one of my dreams you've just lived.
We got Hot passes and let us go to the garage area, just outside the inspection area, the trucks, track, the trophy and last but definately not the least the pit. We saw the whole race from the pit and were sitting on the tires. It is just amazing what goes into making a race car and pictures do not do it justice at all.
one thing that you probably can't do in any Formula 1 race - go out, examine the cars and have a chat with the drivers.
While NASCAR isn't very highly regarded among Europeans (NASCRAP they call it - you know the little thing about taking a big left turn), it's interesting to see former Formula 1 drivers make the change over to NASCAR.
Glad you got to get an up-close look!
